"Madness" always exists in late March, however this year Im hearing everyone talk about the wrong teams to win the tourney of 64. I never usualy pick a #1 seed. I loved Cuse last year in the 3 hole, but this year I cant help but choose one of the #1 seeds. Kentucky is gonna run through this short game tourney. #11 is far and away better than anyplayer in the country. He is the only one that I watch and feel has potential to not only be an NBA player, rather an all-pro.
When your filling out your bracket next week, remember that this tournament is all about 6 games of the most fluid, consistent basketball you can generate. This is why if you look at most of the championship teams in the last 20 years, most have a PG that can manage a game and make it better. Either that, or a big grinder like Hansborogh or Elton Brand that can get the job done on the college level. In any event, Wall on Kentucky is a mix between D-wade at Marquette and D-Rose with Memphis, who by the way had the same coach as #11. He just makes it look too easy, and im yet to see someone who can stop em.
Cant wait for the bracket's to come out so I can start talkin trash in these leagues. I truly hope im the only one that takes Kentucky. By the way, Im not a Kentucky fan I just think this kid is the truth and im trying to look out for the NYSPage audience.
Hon Mention:
1. Ohio State- I like this kid Turner in a short game tourney
2. Mich St- Every year I say im not gonna sleep on Tom Izzo. Every year I sleep on him. Not this year, im puttin them through to the final four unless they are in #11's region.
