Wille Conducts First Interview to be a Yankees Bench Coach

We all know that it was inevitable that Willie Randolph show up at Yankees Stadium wearing pinstripes. We just didn't know that it would be the old Yankee Stadium.

I will make the not-so-bold prophecy or saying that Willie Randolph will be a Yankees Bench Coach in 2009. I can't see any other team offering him a head coaching job next year.

So unless he wants to go on the baseball card convention signing tour next year, then he better save his old timers day uniform. He says "I'd love to manage again, see if I could get back on the wheel again."

"Get back on the wheel" That seems like the same type of nonchalant, vague words that prevented him from effectively communicating with his former team.
