NYSS never misses an opportunity to chastise its northern neighbors. NEVER! There are a few things I wanted to
beat to death touch on,
Curt Shillings most recent inane comments and a new anti-Boston sports tee shirt that I would assume is flying off the shelves.
Curt Shilling has to be one of the most disliked people
in pro sports who used to play pro sports. Yes, he is a proven playoff performer but nevertheless, a
complete douche in every sense of the word. The things that come out of his mouth are so asinine, you would have trouble distinguishing them from things that come out of your ass on a Monday morning after Sunday night football honey BBQ wings.
He was recently
quoting saying the following, regarding New York sports fans opinion on Tom Brady's recent season ending knee injury...
"The Yankees suck this year, and they're bitter and mad and they're making excuses over that" the over-opinionated Schilling said on WEEI-AM..."Now they've got Tom going down, so New York's excited...The sad part is going to be when [the Patriots] beat the Jets" added Schilling, predicting a possible 11-5 finish for the Brady-free Patriots this season.
What a f'in moron this guy is. It
never ceases to amaze me how much BS can spew out of his mouth at a given moment in time. Here are a few things that he doesn't know.
1) Most Yankee fans are Giants fans, not Jets fans. Giants fans do not care about Brady considering he is in a different conference than him and they already beat the Patriots when Brady was playing
2) For the Yankee fans that are also Jets fans and therefore hate the Pats, of course they are happy. Why wouldn't they be? He kills us every time they play us and are perennial obstacle that stands in the way of us (Jets) winning the division or making any noise in the AFC.
3) The Patriots may beat the Jets but they are not going to do anything beyond that. He threw 50 TD's last year, you can't replace that with a QB who hasn't started a game since 1999 in high school.
4) His 11-5 prediction is about as likely to happen as the Yankees making the playoffs this year. (I am a Mets fan obviously)
With that said, I am thrilled to see Brady out for the season. A couple of goofballs created this
tee shirt below applauding the guy who wrecked Brady's 2008 season. Kudos!
