While at a bar with some hot bitches on the Upper West Side of Manhattan Monday night, I was able watch the Giants get
pulverized by The Browns offense. Remnant Cleveland followers gleefully cheered after frustrated Giants fans watched Eli throw his 3rd pick. It is apparent that Coughlin didn't follow any of
my 5 Keys to Victory and it costs him. But did it really?
Sometimes losing can benefit a team in the long run i.e. the G-Men losing the last regular season game last year. Here are 5 reasons why I think that it is a good thing the Giants lost last Monday night.
1) Eli can come back down to earth now. Eli has been on cloud 9 since beginning his playoff run last year. From doing the
magazine version of Cribs to being on the cover of
girliest guys periodicals, everyone has been kissing his white ass up and down
Washington Street
2) Weakness are now exposed. It is difficult to devise practices each week when you
destroy every single team you play. Now the G-Men can go back, identify what they did wrong, and fix it.
3) Remember the Titans Patriots They won every game until the Giants showed them
who's the boss. I think a lot of people would agree with me if I were to say that if the Patriots lost a regular season game they would have been in a better position to win the last game. I'm not saying the Giants even had a chance to win all 16 this year, but it puts a little less pressure when they have to play their division rivals later this year.
4) Perhaps Plax can get motivated now. I don't know, maybe its just me but doesn't it seem like Plaxico Burress doesn't give a shit sometimes? Scoring Super Bowl Wining TD's and getting salary raises can do that to a person I suppose. Since Plax can straight
dominate a team any night, it is possible that losing to the Browns will get him focused and ready to go. Also, the fact that a Michigan Receiver (Braylon Edwards) showed him up, (Plax went to Michigan State) this might get him on his horse.
5) The target is now off their back. Now the media can bullshit about another team instead. With every game the Giants won, the
browner the nose of the media would end up getting. Since they lost to the lowly Browns, the Giants can now relax and get back down to business instead of having to answer questions on whether they can repeat as champs again or if they believe they can go 16-0.
Any other Reasons? Or perhaps you
respectfully disagree think I'm a moron? Say why below
