As Jets Begin to Suck More, I Begin to Have False Hope in the Knicks

So now that the Jets are 3-3, My predictions of Jet Favre's effect on the Jets success, or lack there of, has been pretty much accurate thus far.

Being that I am primarily a hoops fan over any sport and I am a Knicks fan over any other team (yes even the Mets), I am going to have a fart-in-the-wind prayer that they will be contenders not horrible this year.

What do I have to look forward too? Chris Duhon running the point? He supposedly has aspirations of being a captain this year. I am not sure how realistic/retarded that is but hey, if I can hope on being a millionaire then why can't he hope to be the Captain of the Knicks?

Which leads me to another tangent. What is being the captain of the Knicks like? (click here for answer) Is it like being the captain of the Titanic? The captain of Clooney and Marky Mark's ship in the Perfect Storm? Captain of the Raiders Detroit Lions or KC Royals? Your basically asking for your head to be put on the guillotine at that point.

Well, perhaps we can get some exciting games at the Garden this year. That will soften the blow of us sucking for the 9th straight year. If Pat Ewing Jr. can help us remember the days when things were better, it will ease the mind and heart, at least for a second. he does here in the You Tube clip actually.
