As of right now (Sunday evening) there is nothing to be worried about. Johan threw not 30, but 31 bullpen pitches (after some long toss with K-Rod) and he claimed to be fine. IRIE MAN. I have always said that worrying about stuff like this will only perpetuate the negative emotions we already have ingrained in our brains as Mets fans.

With this news, I still don't have a problem with him missing the Season Opener against the Reds on April 6th. However, I would like him to be there for the Stadium/Home opener on April 13th at Taxpayer Field. I have spoken with about 7 non-season ticket owning Mets fans who applied for Home opener tickets on Mets.com and NOT 1 of them was chosen through the lottery process. WTF.
