Wanna Fight About it? Celebrity Boxing 8

A buddy of mine, Scott Goldfarb, was on the MTV reality show "A Double Shot of Love" a few months back. As a result of that, he frequently gets invited to participate in such odd events as "Celebrity Boxing 8". So I traveled down to Philadelphia to a watch him take on this dude Rob Maaddi (an AP sports writer) in some random suburban World Gym.

Let me tell ya, it is extremely invigorating to watch one of your friends box, especially against someone who probably roots for the Phillies and Eagles. Throw in the fact that I annihilated Red Bull & vodka's and cheesesteaks for 6 straight hours beforehand and you got yourself a pretty sweet night. You can also pretty much assume that I was praying to the porcelain gods in a Comfort Inn hotel room bathroom at 2:00am.

The video above shows the first round. But most of the good action is in found below which features Scott's devastating right hook and exuberant celebrations. Speaking of celebrating, the next day I walked around Center City, which is basically like the midtown of Philly, wearing a bright blue Mets shirt and reminding every what team was in 1st place in the NL East. The most common response I got was "World Champs" but I also heard "Go Fuck Yourself douchbag Mets fan" a few times.
